The Beatles

Postby Stu_J » Thu Sep 10, 2009 5:12 pm

I have to admit, I wasn't a fan up until the last few months but with the impending release of the rock band game I was inspired to start and listening, and WOW! Anyone else a longtime fan or a new convert to Beatle-mania?

I am a new convert. I'm still more a beach boys fan though.

Funny I got into them way before the beatles, but now I just feel like the main spattering of their songs is so focused on the slice of Americana that seems so foreign to me I can't empathize with their music as much as I used to.

Yes, I see. I can empathise with the beatles lyrics more. I think its probably a case that ive been listening to the beach boys a lot longer than I have the beatles.

I can listen them but I'm not a huge fan.

As I was growing up, I heard mainly the Beatles playing between my brother and my dad. I was sort of conditioned to love them - but it's a good thing, because they're awesome.
